Without a doubt, if we’re growing, we are continuously receiving enlightenment through the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Living Word of Almighty God, and I live for proclaiming, promoting, and celebrating His Mighty Word, through music, writing, videography, teaching and preaching, and through the manifestation of the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit. —Seriously, this is what I live for. The title track from the album, “Out of the Darkness” tells the story behind the music: “Voices in chains sing songs of freedom! The voice of the lost sings songs of home! Voices in pain sing songs of healing!” Throughout a twenty-six month battle with depression I took to my piano, worshiping and praying like that was my medicine. I did not sing sad songs. I wanted joy so I sang of joy! As I groped my way out of that dark season, God gave me song after song about courage, hope and abundant joy!
